Schalke 04 land in Madrid

Schalke 04 land at Madrid-Barajas Airport ahead of Tuesday's Champions League last-16 second leg with Real Madrid.

German outfit Schalke 04 have arrived in Madrid ahead of the second leg of their last-16 Champions League clash with Real Madrid on Tuesday evening.

The Bundesliga side touched down at Madrid–Barajas Airport earlier this afternoon and are expected to train at the Bernabeu this evening ahead of the European clash.

Schalke enter the second leg as the overwhelming underdogs following a 6-1 Madrid win when the pair met in the first leg in Germany last month.

The draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League will take place on Friday.
