Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that Gareth Bale will play no part in their Copa del Rey quarter-final with Espanyol on Tuesday evening.

The Welshman was withdrawn at the interval of Madrid's 2-0 win over Granada in La Liga at the weekend after clashing with Jeison Murillo.

"He has discomfort in his left leg. He won't play tomorrow, but he may do on Sunday," Ancelotti told reporters at a press conference.

Madrid will enter the second leg as the firm favourites following their 1-0 win in the first leg last week.
