Team News: Seven changes for Real Madrid

Real Madrid make seven changes for their Copa del Rey quarter-final second leg against Espanyol at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid have made seven changes for their Copa del Rey quarter-final second leg against Espanyol at the Bernabeu this evening, but Cristiano Ronaldo retains his starting place.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti has recalled Iker Casillas in goal, while Alvaro Arbeloa, Nacho and Fabio Coentrao all return to the back four.

Isco, Asier Illarramendi and Jese Rodriguez are also included in the starting lineup.

Likewise, Espanyol have rung the changes to their team, and there are only five survivors from the team that shared the spoils with Valencia in a four-goal thriller at the weekend.

Pizzi, Raul Rodriguez, Sidnei, Joan Capdevilla, Alex Fernandez and Gabriel Torje all come in to the visitors' staring XI.

Real Madrid lead 1-0 from the first leg.

Real Madrid: Casillas, Arbeloa, Nacho, Ramos, Coentrao, Illarramendi, Alonso, Ronaldo, Di María, Isco, Jese

Espanyol: Casilla, Rodriguez, Victor Sanchez, Sidnei, Sergio Garcia, Pizzi, Capdevila, Moreno, Fernandez, Abraham, Torje
