This year's Copa del Rey final between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid is to be held at the Santiago Bernabeu on Friday, May 17.

The match was due to take place the following day, but a scheduling conflict with the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden has seen the tie moved back.

"Both clubs presented a joint proposal to hold the final at the Bernabeu and that seemed a rational argument to us," the Royal Spanish Football Federation told AS.

Real have won the tournament 18 times, while local rivals Atletico have lifted the trophy on nine occasions.
