Lucas Silva looks ahead to El Clasico

Real Madrid midfielder Lucas Silva does not believe that El Clasico on Sunday will decide the La Liga title.

Real Madrid midfielder Lucas Silva does not believe that El Clasico will be decisive in the La Liga title race this season.

Los Blancos will travel to Barcelona on Sunday currently trailing the Catalan outfit by one point in the table.

Silva has said that victory would be "an important step forward", but does not believe that defeat would end his side's challenge.

"We'll be going there to give our all and to play some good football," Silva told reporters. "If we can manage to win it will be an important step forward, although if we lose it will not be all doom and gloom. There's still a long way to go in the season."

Real Madrid have won just one of their last four games in all competitions.
