Eden Hazard was present at Real Madrid's training ground on Friday, fuelling suggestions that the attacker will return from his latest muscular issue sooner than expected.
The 30-year-old has missed Madrid's last two La Liga matches through injury, and it had been thought that the Belgium international would be out until the middle of March with his latest problem.
Hazard was pictured at his Spanish club's training ground on Friday, though, with the former Chelsea attacker taking to the grass for a jog while his teammates prepared for Sunday's clash at home to Valencia.
The Belgian will not be considered for the clash with Los Che, while it is unlikely that he will be involved in the league game with Real Valladolid on February 20.
Madrid will face Atalanta BC in the first leg of their last-16 Champions League tie on February 24, though, and the 2019 arrival from Chelsea could potentially be involved against the Italian club.
Hazard has only scored three times in 13 outings for Zinedine Zidane's side this term.
