James Rodriguez hoping to "make history with Real Madrid"

Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez targets a successful spell with Los Blancos.

James Rodriguez has said that he wants to "make history with Real Madrid".

The Colombian international joined Los Blancos from Monaco in the summer and has impressed over the last month for his new club following a difficult settling-in period.

"I have only just joined, but I want to make history with Real Madrid," he told reporters.

"I am comfortable here and I want to do everything the coach tells me to do. I just want to help so we can win."

James has scored three times in 12 games for Madrid so far this season.
