Koke has told Spain teammate Isco to consider joining him at Atletico Madrid after the Real Madrid playmaker complained about a lack of playing time at the Bernabeu.
Isco netted a hat-trick in La Roja's 6-1 win over Argentina on Tuesday night and went on to make further headlines with his comments after the match.
The 25-year-old took a swipe at Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane by suggesting that the Frenchman has yet to show enough faith in him, having struggled to nail down a regular starting berth this term.
Atleti ace Koke has now invited his compatriot to move across the capital, telling reporters at a promotional event: "As far as I'm concerned when he plays with us for Spain he's the best.
"His level is spectacular. I don't see him day-to-day at his club obviously and I don't know what Zidane is thinking, but I love Isco. If he's not playing regularly there, maybe he would do at Atleti..."
Koke has started 29 matches in La Liga and the Champions League this term, compared to 24 starts in the same competitions for Isco.
