Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho insists that he will remain at the club until at least 2016, even if he wins the Champions League before then.

Jose Mourinho has insisted that he will see out his contract as manager of Real Madrid before thinking of his next move.

Mourinho has been linked with a move back to English football since leaving Chelsea in 2007, and he once again admitted that he fully expects to manage in the Premier League again.

However, he said that he won't consider leaving Madrid until his current contract runs out in 2016, even if Los Blancos win the Champions League title before then.

"If we don't win the Champions League this year, we will win it next season," he told France Football.

"If I won it would I leave Real? No. I will only leave if I am thrown out. When I sign a contract, I sign it with the intention of fulfilling it, with the intention of building and laying the foundations for my successor.

"Would I go back to England one day? Yes, for sure. Without trying to predict the future, I admit I would go back to England but only after I am finished at Real. No earlier than 2016. I like it where I am, I am fine here. That is the truth."

Mourinho has been in charge of Madrid since 2010, guiding the club to a league title and Spanish Cup success in that time.
