Mesut Ozil warns Real Madrid's Portuguese contingent that Germany are determined for glory at this summer's European Championships.

Mesut Ozil has vowed to upset his Real Madrid teammates Cristiano Ronaldo, Fabio Coentrao and Pepe at this summer's European Championships.

Germany have been drawn in the same group as Portugal and the 23-year-old playmaker believes that his countrymen have the potential to beat anyone in the world.

"[Ronaldo, Coentrao and Pepe] know how strong the German national team is," said Ozil.

"The boys say they want to win, but I have already told them that Germany want to finish as undefeated group winners and European champions.

"We have the potential to beat anyone and we have what it takes to win the title."

Ozil has made 30 appearances for Germany since making his debut against Norway in 2009.
