Real Madrid are reportedly set to offer Kylian Mbappe a blockbuster contract that includes a £23m salary with a £110m signing-on bonus as they look to pry the striker away from Paris Saint-Germain.
Los Blancos have been admirers of Mbappe for several years but have not been able to secure his signature despite their ongoing interest.
The French superstar has just six months left on his current contract with PSG and will be free to negotiate his future with other clubs in the New Year.
According to a report from Marca, Real Madrid are now prepared to offer the 25-year-old a £23m salary and a massive £110m bonus if he decides to make the switch to La Liga.
The report adds that Los Merengues are expected to resume discussions with the French international, having set a mid-January deadline for him to either accept their offer or end all hopes of joining Madrid in the foreseeable future.
It is understood that if Mbappe responds positively, the La Liga side will work toward finalising the deal as soon as possible, in anticipation of the player's arrival in the summer upon expiration of his current contract with The Parisians.
Acceptance of the deal with the Spanish side will see the France international become the highest-paid player in Real Madrid's history.
Mbappe signed for PSG from Monaco back in 2018 for a fee of around £156m and is the club's all-time record goalscorer with 233 in 282 appearances.
