Cristiano Ronaldo praises Neymar

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo backs Neymar to become one of the best players in the world at Barcelona.

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo believes that Neymar will become one of the best players in the world at Barcelona.

Neymar, who joined the Spanish champions from Santos in the summer, made a bright start to his career in La Liga.

However, the Brazilian's form has tailed off in the last couple of months, with injuries and off-the-field matters harming his performances.

"[Neymar] is a great player. He's shown recently that he's a player for the future with great potential," Ronaldo told SportTV.

"His adaptation to Barca wasn't the best. He had some problems at first but I have no doubt he has the power to be one of the best in the world, if not the best."

Neymar is currently on the sidelines with a foot injury.
