Sports Mole looks at how Real Madrid could line up in Tuesday's La Liga contest with Girona.

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti is set to again shuffle his pack for Tuesday's La Liga contest with Girona.

As expected, there were alterations for Saturday's 2-0 win over Celta Vigo following the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final with Chelsea.

Los Blancos are 11 points behind La Liga leaders Barcelona, so it would not be a surprise to see Ancelotti prioritise the Copa del Rey final against Osasuna and Champions League two-legged semi-final with Manchester City over the next couple of weeks.

Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Dani Carvajal dropped out of the XI against Celta but should return here, while Rodrygo is also expected to feature in the final third of the field.

Karim Benzema played the full 90 minutes against Celta after recovering from a knock that he suffered against Chelsea, and the Frenchman's fitness will need to be managed in the coming weeks, so he has been left out of the squad for this match.

Dani Ceballos will be missing due to the milestone yellow card that he picked up against Celta.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid have three first-team injuries, with Ferland Mendy still absent due to a calf problem, David Alaba on the sidelines with a hamstring strain, and Eden Hazard suffering a recent muscular issue.

Real Madrid possible starting lineup: Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Rudiger, Nacho; Valverde, Kroos, Modric; Asensio, Rodrygo, Vinicius
