The agent of Santos midfielder Lucas Lima has claimed that Real Madrid have been in contact over a move for the 25-year-old.
Lima's recent form has seen him elevated into the Brazil set-up and he scored his first international goal in the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Argentina earlier this month.
A number of clubs have been linked with a move for the midfielder and according to Edson Khodor, Real Madrid are very much in the race.
"We are speaking with various teams and, specifically, our representative in Italy has met with Real Madrid," Calciomercato quotes Khodor as saying.
Lima, who is also said to be interesting a host of Italian teams, has scored five times for Santos this season.
