Barcelona have reportedly moved a step closer to signing Lautaro Martinez after agreeing personal terms with the Inter Milan striker.
Martinez has impressed for Inter this term with 16 goals in the Champions League and Serie A, earning links with a move to Barca and bitter rivals Real Madrid.
The Argentina international has a €111m (£99.7m) release clause in his contract and the Nerazzurri are refusing to sell him for any less.
Despite his hefty valuation, and the financial impact caused by the coronavirus crisis, Spanish outlet AS claims that Barca are willing to push ahead with plans to sign Martinez.
The Catalan giants have supposedly verbally agreed to pay the 22-year-old an annual salary of €12m (£10.7m), but they still have to officially trigger his release clause.
Martinez joined Inter from Racing Club in July 2018 and has netted 25 times in 66 appearances in all competitions.
