Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly preparing to offer Kylian Mbappe a lucrative new contract in a bid to convince the attacker to remain in the French capital.
The 22-year-old's current deal in Paris is due to expire next June, and it is thought that Real Madrid are pushing to sign him during this summer's transfer window.
PSG could be forced into a sale if they are unable to convince him to pen a fresh contract, but according to Marca, Mauricio Pochettino's side have not given up hope of reaching an agreement.
The report claims that the Ligue 1 outfit are preparing 'a mammoth new contract', which would make the France international the joint-highest earner at the club alongside Neymar.
However, the World Cup winner is not believed to be interested in being paid more money at PSG and instead wants to move to the Bernabeu to fulfil his ambitions in the game.
Mbappe, who found it difficult to make his mark for his country at Euro 2020, has scored 132 goals and registered 61 assists in 171 appearances for Les Parisiens in all competitions.
