Report: Paris Saint-Germain to sign Real Madrid's Angel di Maria

Paris Saint-Germain are close to signing Real Madrid's Argentine winger Angel di Maria for a fee of £51.5m, it has been reported.

The 26-year-old is said to be eager to leave the Spanish capital after this year's Champions League winners signed Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez in the close-season.

According to The Mirror, a fee in the region of £51.5m has been agreed between the two clubs, with the player allegedly set to earn £6.3m a year in the French capital.

Di Maria was a regular starter for Argentina during this year's World Cup finals in Brazil, helping the two-time tournament winners reach the final.
