Real Madrid have reportedly been asked whether they would be interested in signing RB Leipzig midfielder Christopher Nkunku.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed a hugely productive two years in the Bundesliga, contributing 15 goals and 24 assists from just 67 appearances.
Nkunku's performances are yet to earn him a senior debut with France, but that will not stop the former Paris Saint-Germain youngster being linked with some of European football's top clubs.
According to reports in Spain, agent Pini Zahavi has made enquiries with Real Madrid, asking the La Liga giants whether they are keen on adding the versatile playmaker to their squad.
Nkunku still has just under three years remaining on his contract, leaving Leipzig in a position where they would be able to demand well in excess of £40m.
That could prove to be a stumbling block with Los Blancos allegedly keen to sign Kylian Mbappe and Erling Braut Haaland in 2022.
