Real Madrid plan to offer attacker Vinicius Junior a new contract until the summer of 2027, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Real Madrid are reportedly planning to offer attacking starlet Vinicius Junior a new contract at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 21-year-old initially struggled to make a name for himself at Real Madrid following his 2018 arrival from Flamengo but has starred under Carlo Ancelotti this season.

Vinicius has banked 16 goals and 10 assists in 34 appearances for Los Blancos this season, with his existing contract due to expire in the summer of 2024.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid are preparing to offer the Brazil international a new contract until the end of the 2026-27 season and will table the proposal in the coming months.

Romano adds that "everyone" at the Bernabeu is in favour of a new deal for Vinicius, with president Florentino Perez also giving the green light to an extension.

Vinicius has totalled 30 goals and 33 assists in 152 appearances for Los Blancos, with 13 of his strikes this season coming in 23 La Liga outings.
