Cristiano Ronaldo has described rumours that he could return to Manchester United next summer as "speculation".
Respected Spanish journalist Guillem Balague recently told Sports Mole that the Real Madrid talisman wanted to move back to Old Trafford, having left the Premier League for Spain in 2009.
United manager Louis van Gaal then sparked further reports surrounding United's supposed pursuit of the Portuguese captain when he admitted that he would welcome the 29-year-old's presence in his squad.
However, when asked for his response to all the stories, Ronaldo, who scored four goals in his side's 5-1 win over Elche last night, has insisted that he is only concerned with his responsibilities for Los Blancos.
"They are all speculations about my future. My future is Madrid. I'm happy this season is going well and my future, I will not speak about. It does not make sense," the Daily Mail quotes Ronaldo as saying.
The Madeira-born attacker has scored 264 goals in 254 outings for Madrid.
