Cristiano Ronaldo wants former Real Madrid teammate James Rodriguez to join him at Juventus, according to a report.

Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly keen for former Real Madrid teammate James Rodriguez to join him at Juventus in this summer's transfer window.

Rodriguez is back with Madrid following a two-season loan with Bayern Munich, who turned down the chance to sign the Colombia international on a permanent deal this summer.

The 28-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs in recent weeks, with Napoli and Atletico Madrid both said to be interested in a potential move.

According to AS, though, Ronaldo is keen for the attacker to make the move to Turin ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

The report claims that any deal for Rodriguez is likely to depend on Paulo Dybala, who will not be moving to the Premier League this summer despite a host of speculation as the deadline has now passed.

The Old Lady will begin their 2019-20 Serie A season with a trip to Parma on August 24.
