Sergio Ramos wants new Real Madrid deal

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is desperate to sign a new contract at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has revealed that he is desperate to sign a new contract at the Bernabeu.

The Spaniard joined Madrid from Sevilla in 2005, and the centre-back has made over 600 appearances for the capital giants in all competitions - winning 20 trophies in the process.

Ramos's current deal will expire in the summer of 2021, and there were suggestions last season that he was keen on a move to the Chinese Super League.

The 33-year-old, however, has claimed that the club could sort out his future "in five minutes" due to his willingness to sign a new contract.

"There is no Ramos case. I'm contracted to Real Madrid and I have one-and-a-half years left on my contract. If they (Madrid) want to sort it out, in five minutes it can be done," Ramos told Onda Cero.

Ramos - also linked with Liverpool and Manchester United last summer - has won three La Liga titles, two Copa del Reys and four Champions League trophies during his time with Los Blancos.

Meanwhile, only Raul, Iker Casillas, Manuel Sanchis and Santillana have made more appearances for the Spanish giants than their current skipper.
