Rennes can stretch their unbeaten run in Ligue 1 to five matches when they host Montpellier HSC on Saturday at Roazhon Park.

Three first-half strikes enabled Stade Rennais to come away with a 3-2 victory over Lyon last Friday, while La Paillade extended their league winless run to three matches with a 0-0 draw with Lille.

Rennes seem to have found their scoring touch while Montpellier are still searching for theirs, and we believe the visitors will have difficulty doing much except perhaps fending off Les Rennais for a period of time.

Nantes vs. Lens (Saturday, 8.00pm)

As we pass the midway point of the Ligue 1 campaign, Nantes will seek their first domestic triumph of 2024 when they host Lens on Saturday at Stade de la Beaujoire.

On matchday 19, La Maison Jaune could only manage a 0-0 draw with Reims, while Les Sang et Or won their first league fixture of the year last weekend, 2-0 over Toulouse.

While history suggests Nantes have the upper hand in this contest, we believe the overall form of Lens and their balance across the board will enable them to end a lengthy winless drought versus La Maison Jaune at Stade de la Beaujoire.
