Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Kevin Doyle has insisted that former Republic of Ireland teammate Damien Duff is very unlikely to come out of international retirement.
The 33-year-old Fulham winger called time on his international career after winning his 100th senior cap against Italy at Euro 2012.
"I think from what I have heard, Duffers is well and truly in the retired camp," said Doyle. "I think he wants to be left alone for a while."
Doyle will wear the captain's armband during tonight's friendly with Oman at Craven Cottage.
