Republic of Ireland assistant boss Roy Keane is wanted by Israel as their next permanent manager, according to a report.
The 45-year-old is currently focused on the Boys in Greens' bid to reach the 2018 World Cup in Russia, which they are on course to achieve with four games left to go.
Keane is due to see his contract with the Football Association of Ireland expire at the end of the campaign, however, whether that be later this year or next summer, and Israel are said to be waiting to pounce.
It is claimed by the Irish Independent that the Blue and Whites believe that the ex-Manchester United player is the right man to take over, having seen their hopes of qualifying for the World Cup badly fade.
Keane, part of the Irish setup alongside Martin O'Neill since 2013, has won 70 of his 181 games as a manager.
