Rudi Garcia hoping for Napoli victory

Roma manager Rudi Garcia says that he is hoping Napoli can beat league leaders Juventus when the two sides meet this evening.

Roma manager Rudi Garcia has said that he is hoping Napoli can beat league leaders Juventus when the two sides meet this evening.

The Giallorossi cut the gap between themselves and Juve to 11 points with their 2-0 win against Sassuolo this afternoon, but would require a surprising collapse from the defending champions to have any chance of winning the Serie A title.

"I would like Napoli to win tonight. It's true there is a big gap between us and Juve, but if they lose then it will be smaller," Garcia told Sky Sport Italia.

"Until it becomes mathematically impossible, we have to keep looking forward."

Roma are currently second in the Serie A table and lead third-placed Napoli by nine points.
