Everton target Kevin Strootman has been tipped to sign a new long-term contract with his current club Roma.
The Serie A outfit are keen to hold on to the Dutchman after he scored a key goal in last weekend's derby win over Lazio, according to Calciomercato.
The Giallorossi is said to be willing to offer Strootman a deal worth around €2.7m (£2.2m) a year which will keep him in the Italian capital until 2012.
Strootman has been strongly linked with a move to Everton, with Toffees manager Ronald Koeman believed to be an admirer of his fellow Dutchman.
Previous reports suggest that Manchester United were once monitoring the Netherlands international.
