Preview: Rotherham United vs. Charlton Athletic

Sports Mole looks ahead to Rotherham United's match against the unbeaten Charlton Athletic at the New York Stadium in the Championship this weekend.

Rotherham United will try to end Charlton Athletic's unbeaten start to the season when the Addicks travel to the New York Stadium in the Championship this weekend.

Rotherham lost out in a five-goal thriller to Bolton Wanderers earlier this week, leaving them without a win in their last three matches and 19th in the table.

Steve Evans will be without striker Febian Brandy, after he agreed an emergency loan move to Crewe Alexandra, but has no new injuries to worry about.

Meanwhile, Charlton will be hoping that they can avoid their first league loss of the season after climbing up to fifth in the table.

Goals have been scarce for the visitors in their last few matches though, with just five goals from four games, including their 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this week.

Striker George Tucudean lasted just over an hour earlier this week, so Franck Moussa could be in line for a recall to the starting lineup against Rotherham this weekend.

It has been a long time since these two teams have been in the same league, with their last meeting coming in 1983, when Rotherham secured a 1-0 win.
