Team News: Julian Draxler on Schalke 04 bench again

Julian Draxler is named on the Schalke 04 bench for the meeting with bottom club Stuttgart at the Veltins Arena.

Julian Draxler has been named on the Schalke 04 bench for the Bundesliga clash with Stuttgart.

Roberto Di Matteo has been reluctant to rush Draxler since his return from injury, and the attacking midfielder will be forced to settle for a supporting role.

Kevin-Prince Boateng and Max Meyer are also among the substitutes, but Leon Goretzka returns to the midfield for the hosts.

Stuttgart, who are looking to climb off the bottom of the table with a positive result at the Veltins Arena, bring Daniel Schwaab into the side to replace the suspended Adam Hlousek.

There is also a change in midfield as Serey Die returns to take the place of Oriol Romeu.

Schalke: Fahrmann, Howedes, Matip, Nastasic, Aogo, Neustädter, Goretzka, Farfan, Sane, Choupo-Moting, Huntelaar

Stuttgart: Ulreich, Klein, Baumgartl, Niedermeier, Schwaab, Serey Dié, Gentner, Harnik, Maxim, Kostic, Ginczek
