Norwich City's Russell Martin has revealed that a number of his England-supporting friends may back Scotland in Tuesday night's friendly between the Auld Enemy.
Gordon Strachan's side will face Roy Hodgson and his team this week at Celtic Park, with both nations heading into the match on the back of victories in their Euro 2016 campaigns.
The Three Lions grabbed a 3-1 victory over Slovenia on Saturday, while the Scots earned a 1-0 triumph over the Republic of Ireland on Friday.
"To be honest I have had so many texts from friends and fellow players who say they genuinely enjoy watching Scotland more than England at the minute," The Express quotes Martin as saying. "That is a massive compliment. That is true.
"They all watch our games, if I'm involved, and they really like how we play. I've had loads of compliments about our team. And we are enjoying that too. that shows you how far this team has come. I'm not sure if they will still support England on Tuesday."
Last year, England got the better of Scotland by edging a 3-2 victory at Wembley.
