Ben Foster has warned his England teammates that Scotland will look to 'kick lumps' out of them in Tuesday's friendly at Celtic Park.
Roy Hodgson's side gear up for their first visit to Scotland in 15 years, but after seeing the manner in which they beat the Republic of Ireland on Friday, Foster says that the occasion will be a friendly in name only.
The West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper, who is expected to play some part after Joe Hart's release back to Manchester City, told The Mirror: "They were kicking lumps out of each other, weren't they?
"It was very high-tempo. I could feel the atmosphere sitting watching it. It's almost like they were getting more up for a good tackle, than they were for good passes.
"I'm sure we can expect the same atmosphere and same sort of game. It will be a good one to be involved in."
The Three Lions beat their Scottish counterparts the last time both nations squared off - a 3-2 win at Wembley in August, 2013.
