Scunthorpe United sign Dave Syers on loan

Dave Syers joins Scunthorpe United from Doncaster Rovers on a month-long loan deal.

Scunthorpe United have signed Dave Syers on loan from Doncaster Rovers.

The midfielder will spend the next month at Glanford Park and goes straight into the squad for today's League Two clash with Cheltenham Town.

Syers has found first-team football difficult to come by at Doncaster, having made just three substitute appearances for Paul Dickov's tean this term.

The 25-year-old joined Doncaster from Yorkshire rivals Bradford City in the summer of 2012.
