Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Jones believes that his side became "too excited" during their 3-2 defeat to Bristol City.
The Owls led 2-1 in the 86th minute following goals from Miguel Llera and Gary Madine, but a second Sam Baldock penalty and a late Albert Adomah free kick gave City the win at Hillsborough.
Wednesday remain in the bottom three, but Jones insists that his side are together in their relegation battle.
"We were in a winning position, full stop. We gave a stupid free kick away and got excitable," said Jones. "You don't become a bad manager overnight. Sometimes it takes a little longer than you thought to turn things around.
"The chairman will be upset. I'm upset. The players and coaches feel under pressure, we all do. Today was a prime example of 'When your luck is out, it's out', which is silly because for 84 minutes our luck was in.
"I see and feel everything that everyone else sees and feels. We are a 'we' and we're in it together."
Wednesday remain 23rd in the Championship.
