Sheffield Wednesday have reportedly expressed an interest in nabbing Mark Cooper from Swindon Town to assist their new head coach.
The Owls are without a manager following the surprise dismissal of Stuart Gray last week.
Portuguese coach Carlos Carvalhal has been heavily linked with the head coach job and, according to BBC Radio Sheffield, Wednesday want Cooper to assist the 49-year-old.
Cooper has been in charge of Swindon for the last two seasons, leading them to the League One playoff final in 2014-15.
