Adam Lallana reveals Southampton confidence

Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana says that his team are in "confident" mood after recording their third win in as many matches.

Midfielder Adam Lallana has revealed that the current Southampton squad is full of confidence following the 2-0 win over Swansea City earlier today.

The victory was Southampton's third in a row and has lifted them up to fourth in the Premier League table.

"We've been winning games 1-0 before today, which is the sign of a good team. We've got another clean sheet today and the back four are playing well while Artur Boruc is making a lot of good saves in goal," he told BBC Sport.

"We've got to take it each game as it comes. We've won three games on the bounce, we're confident and building a good, young squad."

Next up for the Saints after the international break is a trip to Manchester United.
