Mauricio Pochettino open to managing Paris Saint-Germain in future

Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino admits that he would be eager to manage Paris Saint-Germain in the future.

Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he would be interested in becoming manager of Paris Saint-Germain in the future.

The Southampton manager, who spent three years as a player in the French capital, admits that he would relish the opportunity of guiding his former side if he was to leave St Mary's.

"Why not? I liked coaching Espanyol where I was also a player. So yes, I'd have the opportunity to lead one day Paris," Pochettino told BeIn Sports.

"I enjoyed a lot my spell there and I had the chance to be captain of the team. I spent three wonderful years.

"I always look at the results of the club and their evolution. They are at the height of the other top teams in Europe and I hope they will win the Champions League this season."

Pochettino took over at Southampton in January 2013.
