Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino is pleased with his side's battling performance during Saturday's 0-0 draw at Norwich City in the Premier League.

Southampton manager Mauricio Pochettino has praised his side's battling display following Saturday's goalless draw at Norwich City in the Premier League.

Saints goalkeeper Artur Boruc saved a last-minute penalty from Grant Holt to earn the visitors a point at Carrow Road.

"The team fought really hard today and the result could have been worse with the penalty given in the last minute," Pochettino told Sky Sports News.

The draw has lifted 16th-placed Southampton four points clear of the relegation zone.
