Guido Carrillo is again chosen to lead the Southampton line in Saturday's home Premier League game against Stoke City.

Guido Carrillo has again chosen to lead the Southampton line in Saturday's home Premier League game against Stoke City.

Italian forward Manolo Gabbiadini came off the Southampton bench to rescue a point at Burnley last weekend, but January arrival Carrillo keeps his spot at the tip of the attack.

Shane Long is fit enough for a spot on the bench, but Steven Davis is on the treatment table for the Saints, who are also still without the services of Charlie Austin.

As for Stoke, Peter Crouch and Ryan Shawcross are only fit enough for the bench as the pair recover from ankle problems.

As a result, head coach Paul Lambert has named an unchanged XI from the one that started last weekend's 1-1 draw at Leicester City.

Southampton: McCarthy; Cedric, Stephens, Hoedt, Bertrand;, Lemina, Romeu, Sims; Tadic, Redmond, Carrillo
Subs: Forster, Bednarek, Hojbjerg, Ward-Prowse, Boufal, Long, Gabbiadini

Stoke City: Butland; Bauer, Martins-Indi, Zouma, Stafylidis; Cameron, Ndiaye, Allen; Shaqiri, Diouf, Choupo-Moting
Subs: Haugaard, Pieters, Johnson, Jese, Shawcross, Fletcher, Crouch
