Victor Wanyama reveals that Celtic have accepted a £10m fee for his services from Southampton, while admitting that he is yet to discuss personal terms with the Premier League club.

Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama has revealed that the Scottish giants have today accepted a £10m bid from Southampton for his services.

The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks, with Saints mentioned alongside Cardiff City and Stoke City as a potential summer destination.

Wanyama has admitted that Saints are currently the only club to have a concrete offer accepted by Celtic, while also insisting that a deal is far from complete.

He is quoted by The Mirror as saying: "My club has agreed a deal with Southampton, but I will also have to consider terms before I become a Saint."

Saints will now begin talks with the Kenyan international over personal terms, as Mauricio Pochettino looks to build a squad capable of solidifying their place as an established Premier League force.

Pochettino has already completed one notable transfer deal in the close season, with Croatian defender Dejan Lovren joining from Lyon for a fee of £8.5m.
