Dejan Lovren wants to settle quickly at Southampton

New Southampton defender Dejan Lovren admits that he would like to get settled to life at the club and England quickly before pre-season starts.

New Southampton defender Dejan Lovren has admitted that he wants to settle quickly into life at the club.

The 23-year-old joined the Saints for an undisclosed fee earlier this week and signed a four-year deal with Mauricio Pochettino's side.

Lovren told the club's official website: "I think I will be here (in Southampton) a few days earlier than the others because I need to know the people, the town and the players.

"It's important for me to have my future resolved because I am a young player, and I want to know where I will be playing. It was important for me to know that now.

"This was my decision to take, and I think it's a good choice. I think it will be great."

Lovren made 23 appearances for his former club Lyon last season.
