Morgan Schneiderlin tells Southampton he wants to leave?

Morgan Schneiderlin reportedly tells Southampton that he wants to leave the club amid interest from Arsenal and Napoli.

Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has reportedly told club officials that he wants to leave St Mary's this summer.

The Premier League outfit have already sold Rickie Lambert, Luke Shaw and Adam Lallana following the departure of manager Mauricio Pochettino at the end of last season.

Schneiderlin, who is currently with the France squad at the World Cup in Brazil, has been linked with Napoli and Arsenal.

According to Goal.com, the 24-year-old has expressed to Southampton that he wants to call time on his six-year stay at St Mary's for pastures new.

Reports have claimed that Arsenal may consider launching a bid for the midfielder now that he has told Southampton that he wants a transfer.

Meanwhile, Serie A side Napoli are said to have already held talks with Schneiderlin's representatives regarding a possible move to Rafael Benitez's team.
