Vicente del Bosque: 'The future is bright'

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque reveals his delight with the quality of the young players available for La Roja.

Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has insisted that the future is bright for La Roja.

The likes of Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Fernando Torres are coming to the latter stages of their international careers, but a number of young talents have made the breakthrough over the last couple of seasons.

"We talk about the generation of Xavi, Iniesta, Torres... little by little we have two generations uniting and we have a lot of faith in the young people. In the phrase from Xavi to Koke we can take more out of this generation," Inside Spanish Football quotes Del Bosque as saying.

"The Sub-21 team failed in the Olympics, but they are really good players for us. Ander Herrera, [Ander] Iturraspe are players that will help us in the future. And then others like [Sergio] Busquets who still have a lot to give."

Spain are the current European and world champions.
