Spain forward Alvaro Negredo thinks that Tuesday's qualifier against France in Paris will feel like "a real final" but backs his side to prevail.

Spain striker Alvaro Negredo has insisted that Tuesday's World Cup qualifier against France will feel like "a real final" and that victory is imperative.

Vicente del Bosque's side trail France by two points ahead of the match in Paris after being held to a shock 1-1 draw by Finland on Friday.

Negredo believes that his side have enough quality to put the Finland shock behind them and beat an in-form France away from home.

He told EFE: "It's a real final, not only for us but for France too.

"Spain will do whatever it takes to win the game. We have to fight to the death in France. We are obligated to win, just as we needed to win against Finland.

"We have quality to win in any stadium in the world. This team have already shown what we are capable of."

Both sides are fighting for a single automatic qualification spot in next summer's finals, with the runners-up forced into a playoff tie.
