Kei Kamara scored his first MLS goal since returning from Norwich City to earn Sporting Kansas City a deserved draw against Houston Dynamo on Sunday.

The Sierra Leone forward, who spent the second half of the Premier League season on loan at Carrow Road, netted a long-range strike 22 minutes from time to extend Kansas's unbeaten run to three games.

Brad Davis had earlier put Houston ahead on the stroke of half time with a well-taken finish following a neat pass by Will Bruin.

Ike Opara had a golden chance to win the match for Kansas in second-half stoppage time, but he headed wide from Graham Zusi's whipped corner kick.
