Video: Emmanuel Adebayor: 'I don't care what people think of me'

Watch a video preview as TRACE Sports gets to know what Emmanuel Adebayor is like off the football pitch.

During his six years in the Premier League, there are few players that have stoked up more controversy than Emmanuel Adebayor.

Having joined Arsenal in 2006, he moved to Manchester City in 2009 for a reported £25m - a transfer that was met with much animosity from supporters of the Gunners.

He went on to feel the wrath even more when he then left City to play for Tottenham Hotspur two years later.

As well as club football, Adebayor has also been in the headlines when it comes to the international scene. Having originally retired over a dispute regarding bonuses, he returned to the Togo squad that competed at this year's Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.

Over the last few weeks TRACE Sports have been celebrating the ongoing tournament by screening a number of interviews with high-profile African footballers as part of their Vuvuzela Month.

Their latest offering, which can be previewed below, allows you to get to know Adebayor off the pitch.

As part of their African Cup of Nations coverage, tune in to TRACE Sports [SKY Channel 442] tonight at 9pm to watch the full Adebayor interview in Missing in Loud and Proud. The programme will also feature an exclusive interview with Al Ain star Asamoah Gyan, as he lets his hair down and reveals his passion for dancing. www.trace.tv/en/sports.
