Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up in their UEFA Champions League tie with Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday.

Tottenham Hotspur supporters will have watched on and waited with bated breath as Harry Kane received treatment following a heavy blow to the ankle in their win over Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend, before eventually being substituted.

However, thankfully for them, both Kane and manager Antonio Conte have confirmed it was just a knock, so he should be available for their UEFA Champions League tie with Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday.

That should mean Conte may stick with the same front three that started against Frankfurt last week in the reverse fixture, as Son Heung-min and Richarlison flanked the England captain in attack.

Surprisingly, Kane has yet to score in the Champions League for Spurs so far this season, but he has found the net in seven of Spurs' nine Premier League games.

Richarlison was dropped at the weekend as Yves Bissouma came into the side to add a third man into the Spurs midfield, but back on home turf in a must-win encounter, it is expected Conte will opt for a slightly more adventurous approach, similar to what started in central Germany.

Conte has tinkered with his wing-backs frequently this season on both flanks, as Ivan Perisic and Ryan Sessegnon have both shared duties down the left, while Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty have been used on the right, keeping new signing Djed Spence on the bench for all of the season so far.

Doherty and Sessegnon started at the weekend, but with Emerson available in Europe despite his domestic suspension, he may come in for the Irishman, while the experienced Perisic could take the place of Sessegnon in what will be a vital fixture for Spurs' continental ambitions.

Cristian Romero and Eric Dier should be shoo-ins to start at centre-back, but Conte will have a decision to make about who will start on the left of that back three.

Barcelona loanee Clement Lenglet started in Frankfurt last week, but was replaced in the starting lineup by Ben Davies for the tie at Brighton, and as Spurs kept clean sheets in both encounters, the Italian manager has a decision to make about who will start in defence.

Spurs' attacking options remain rather limited, as Dejan Kulusevski and Lucas Moura will both miss out with injury.

Moura has not featured since their draw at Chelsea in mid-August, while Kulusevski has been missing since returning from international duty with Sweden suffering from a thigh injury at the end of last month.

Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup:
Lloris; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Emerson, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Perisic; Richarlison, Kane, Son
