Half-Time Report: Tottenham Hotspur being held by Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk at the interval

Spurs are held to a goalless first half in the Europa League against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham Hotspur are 45 minutes away from a Europa League exit after playing out a goalless first half against Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk at White Hart Lane.

In what was a fairly timid opening half, Christian Eriksen had a decent attempt at goal, but it lacked any real conviction to trouble Denys Boyko in the Dnipro goal.

Spurs probed throughout the half but time and again their build-up play was too slow and strikers Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor were left to feed off scraps with no real creativity behind them.

Yevhen Konoplyanka has been bright for the visitors and Spurs have clearly earmarked the winger as the dangerman, with bodies surrounding him every time he has tried to affect the game.
