Team News: Seven changes for Tottenham Hotspur for Sheriff Tiraspol clash

Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas makes seven changes for the Europa League match against Sheriff Tiraspol.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has made seven changes to his side to take on Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League this evening.

Jermain Defoe and Zeki Fryers have been handed starts for the match against the Moldovan champions.

Kyle Naughton, Moussa Dembele, Erik Lamela, Christian Eriksen and Aaron Lennon also return amid a host of changes from the side that beat Aston Villa at the weekend.

Emmanuel Adebayor could make his first appearance of the season after being named on the substitutes' bench.

Andros Townsend, who scored in the victory over Villa, has been left out of the matchday squad.
