Gareth Bale insists that his Tottenham teammates are due as much credit as him for their 3-2 victory over West Ham at Upton Park.

Gareth Bale has played down suggestions that Tottenham Hotspur are a one-man team after again inspiring them to an important victory in their quest for Champions League football.

The Welshman bagged a brace, including a 30-yard wonderstrike in the 89th minute, as Spurs edged out West Ham United at Upton Park tonight.

Those strikes took Bale's tally to eight goals in his last six matches, with Moussa Dembele the only other Tottenham player to score during that run.

However, the 23-year-old has insisted that he is only flourishing due to the contributions of his Spurs teammates.

"I am just enjoying my football. That is the most important thing," he told Sky Sports News.

"The team is playing well, which makes it easier. It is not about me, it is about the team. We played well tonight."

Bale has scored a total of 19 goals in 32 appearances for the White Hart Lane outfit this season.
