Ashkan Dejagah: 'Tottenham win was tough'

Fulham midfielder Ashkan Dejagah reveals that he and his teammates were delighted with their hard-fought win over Tottenham Hotspur.

Fulham midfielder Ashkan Dejagah has revealed that he and his teammates were delighted to take all three points away from their clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

The former Spurs striker scored the only goal of the game for the Cottagers in their 1-0 win over Andre Villas-Boas's side.

Dejagah told the club's official website: "We were very happy because it was a big game and it's not easy to win against Tottenham. All the world knows that Tottenham have good players; Gareth Bale, Emmanuel Adebayor, many players.

"We played good football and we stuck together as a team from the first minute. We fought all together on the pitch and that was very important."

Fulham are 10th in the Premier League and nine points clear of the relegation zone, with nine games to play this season.
